Patented Quartz Crystal Instruments
We manufacture the authentic Quartzophone® quartz crystal instruments invented by Gaudry Normand of Mine Cristal. Each instrument is engraved with the registered Quartzophone® trademark.
The tubes of our crystal harps and lyres vibrate freely while remaining perfectly centered between the pins, thanks to a one-of-a-kind mechanism: a cord runs through the entire frame, alternating between passing through a tube and a fine metal pin. This zigzag pattern supports both the cord and the tubes flawlessly. Tension is adjusted using tuning keys or screws.
Our quartz crystal lyres and harps stand apart from all other crystal instruments and imitations. Only the Quartzophone® brand—with its patented mechanism, mallets, and design—offers these original vibrations and tonal qualities.

Timbre and Resonance of Quartzophone® Instruments
The vast musical, therapeutic, and vibrational potential of Quartzophone® crystal instruments comes not only from the tubes made of pure quartz crystal (99.9% SiO2) but also from the unique mechanism and specially designed mallets.
Whether you tap a few tubes or glide the mallet across several, you’ll produce a rich vibrato of crystalline sounds: pure, celestial, and omnidirectional frequencies that will surely envelop you.
No attack sound (knocking) will disrupt the experience, as our mallets are felt-covered and made from a specially tested material with an ideal hardness.
8 Tube Quartz Crystal Instruments
Anyone can play a Quartzophone® crystal harp or lyre. No training is needed, yet for an artist, hearing such rich, resonant sound carry to the back of most rooms without amplification is a dream come true.
Our tubes are tuned to a C major scale, offering a full octave. The L1 and H2 models are available in 432 Hz (the “soul frequency”) or 442 Hz (orchestral pitch); the H3 is available in 432 Hz.
Since the tubes tuned to 432 Hz align with the classical chakra tones, they are wonderful for energy work, meditation, sound baths, healing concerts, and more.
These instruments can stand upright on their two feet or on a base. They can also lie flat on a table like a xylophone. Ergonomic and lightweight (4 lb, 3½ lb, and 2½ lb), they can easily be held in one hand: rest your harp or lyre against your chest, hip, or shoulder, play a few notes, and move it slightly. Celestial music will instantly enchant you.
H3 Crystal Harp
Its arched frame is made of solid Canadian hardwood. Its feet fold inward, allowing it to rest flat or be held comfortably in your arms.
It’s our most compact and economical harp. Though its tubes have a slightly smaller diameter, they cover the same range and produce equally crystalline vibrations. The sound projects a bit less forcefully, making it ideal for personal meditation, one-on-one therapy, intimate concerts, and similar uses.

L1 Crystal Lyre
To create such a graceful form, the designer of this crystal lyre drew inspiration from the ancient Greek lyre. Many art lovers have remarked that this piece belongs in a prestigious museum. They admire its elegance, transparency, luminosity, slender profile, and curves. The arched shape of the frame is made from transparent acrylic that’s perfectly polished and beveled, shaped using a new thermoforming process. No detail has been overlooked.
1 or 2 Tube Quartz Crystal Instruments
The Solo and Duo models are tuned in F-sharp, the note associated with the divine heart chakra. Ergonomic and lightweight, they can be easily carried anywhere.
Powerful waves of energy can radiate from a single quartz crystal tube. Glide the mallet across the tube after activating it and wait for the sound to completely fade before reactivating—it’s the best way to experience its full potential.
Why two F-sharp tubes? In fact, their frequencies differ slightly. When two pure tones of different frequencies are played together, they produce fluctuations in the sound wave, creating a complex tone. Whether Duo or Solo, both are highly therapeutic.

Solo
You can play it by hand or place it on a flat surface to accompany singing—but its possibilities go far beyond that.
The vibrations of pure quartz promote concentration, meditation, and prayer.
To create deep, penetrating sound waves :
- Practice deep abdominal breathing for several minutes.
- Hold the instrument in your hand.
- Gently strike the center of the tube with the mallet to trigger a clear, powerful, long-lasting sound.
- Move the Solo gently.
The vibrations from this unique instrument balance energy and purify the environment—whether you’re indoors or in nature.
To release negative energy after a hard day or to take a “cosmic shower” :
- Make the instrument resonate.

We recommend starting with 3 to 5 minute sessions. Increase gradually according to your needs and sensations.
Duo
The interaction between the two tubes creates a slight frequency difference. This rhythmic effect helps synchronize the two hemispheres of your brain.
Like the Solo, the Duo is an excellent therapeutic instrument. Use it to enhance meditation, harmonize your chakras, purify your aura or space, calm your mind, and promote well-being.
You can make it vibrate by holding it in your hand or placing it on a table, the floor, or even on a lying person.
Customizing Your Instrument
We offer the H2 crystal harp with a varnished Canadian maple frame, but other woods are available upon request: rosewood, canarywood, ebony, zebrawood, and more. We can also apply a custom stain before varnishing.
As for the crystal tubes, we can increase their number or plate them in gold or titanium (for an iridescent finish), without altering the original crystalline sound.
